Prof. Wiku Adisasmito, M.Sc., Ph.D
Prof. Wiku Adisasmito is a leading global health and policy expert with more than three decades of experience in health security, epidemiology, pandemic management, and the One Health approach.
He played a central role in Indonesia’s COVID-19 response as Government Spokesperson and Chair of the Expert Team for the National Task Force, while also serving globally as one of 29 members of the One Health High Level Expert Panel (OHHLEP, 2021–2023) and currently as a member of the Technical Advisory Panel of the Pandemic Fund-World Bank.
Recognized for shaping health security policy in Southeast Asia and beyond, he continues to advance public health resilience, evidence-based policymaking, and cross-sectoral strategies through international negotiations at the WHO, global health initiatives, and capacity building internationally.
