SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Nedelya Shonova is a Bulgarian neurologist and PhD in medicine, specializing in cerebrovascular health and psychosocial risk factors. She trained at Weill Cornell Medical College (New York) and Hôpital Européen Georges-Pompidou (Paris), and integrates clinical neuroscience with cognitive and analytical psychotherapy.

She is the creator and host of the award-winning bTV program “The Spirit of Health”, pioneering science-based medical journalism in Bulgaria for over 25 years. Her work bridges science and storytelling to inspire conscious living and mental resilience.

A bestselling author of “A Kite to Heaven”, Dr. Shonova is also co-author of three medical and psychological reference books. She has served as the Bulgarian ambassador for the Go Red for Women campaign in partnership with the American Heart Association, advocating for women’s cardiovascular health on a global scale.

Her interviews include global figures like Dr. Sanjay Gupta (CNN), Dr. Gabor Maté, Dr. Mark Wolynn, and Prof. David Agus. She has trained with leading thinkers such as Tony Robbins, Prof. Daniel Goleman, Dr. Deepak Chopra, and Prof. Yuval Noah Harari.
