Daniel is the Global Head of Portfolio Management, Global Head of Research at EFGAM, Deputy CIO and Chief Executive Officer, EFGAM Switzerland. He has broad investment experience, having worked as an economist, strategist, asset allocator and portfolio manager with exposure to a broad range of markets, instruments, and investment styles. Daniel joined EFGAM in 2010 from Russell Investment, where he was director of strategy. Before this he was a portfolio manager at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. He began his career at Smithers & Co. Ltd.
Daniel has been a CFA Charterholder since 2003 and has a BSc Hons Degree in Economics, an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics and a PhD in Economics. He is a previous winner of the CFA UK Wincott Prize.
